Dozulé toll station
Located in the department of Calvados (14), the Péage de Dozulé is at km 203 of the A13 motorway. This is the last toll barrier in full lane to the west of the A13 a few tens of kilometers from the ring road of Caen.
Lanes open in one direction or the other depending on traffic
The Dozulé toll has so-called "reversible" lanes: located at center of the platform, they can be assigned to one or the other direction of traffic, depending on traffic (towards Caen generally the Fridays and Saturdays and to Paris on Sundays). This modularity allows increase the absorption capacity of toll gates during peaks traffic, especially on spring and summer weekends.
Suspension of the electronic toll service without stopping for more security
In the initial configuration, the lanes reserved for the 30 km/h electronic toll are on the left.
When reversibility is set up, the 30km/h lanes are deactivated in 2 ways. In the less charged sense they disappear to be assigned in the opposite direction where they become all-payment channels.
Reserved electronic toll lanes are nevertheless maintained. They are indicated by the orange T pictogram. Finally, all the pathways accept payment by badge even if the T pictogram is not indicated on display.
